Commonly called Madagascar bourbon vanilla, this plant originated in Mexico and made its way to Indonesia in 1819. It seems to be more effective in Indonesia as it has a more tropical climate so it retains higher levels of vanillin and Indonesia has the best of this gourmet or premium in the world with higher humidity and the best vanilla bean extraction process.

Currently, we are focusing on vanilla beans, also known as vanilla pod, which is a type of vanilla that is shaped like a whole pod; the fruit of this orchid is pod-shaped, but flatter and shiny black there are the same small black caviar-like seeds, this part of the seeds is what we cook by open the vanilla pod and hollow out the seeds with the tip of a knife and vanilla seeds are ready for cooking.
